This Easter weekend why not pop along and join the fun at the Strathspey Railway Mixed Traffic Gala. A host of different types of trains will be on display. They will have steam and diesel locomotives, passenger trains, goods trains, and brake vans. You will be able to ride the trains, setting off from Platform 3 at Aviemore train station. The route takes you through Boat of Garten to Broomhill (and back again), along a scenic route where you can admire the beauty of the Cairngorms.

The Mixed traffic Gala runs from 7th to 10th April. Rover tickets available which allow you unlimited trips throughout the day.

The Shelter Stone is a large self-catering holiday rental house, located in Aviemore in the Highlands of Scotland.
