Autumn is a beautiful time of year to visit Aviemore
It's a great time of year to get out exploring in the hills and lochs. There's a walk to suit every ability, from low level walks around Loch an Eilein, to the Lairig Gruh. Or if you just want to admire the views, you could take the Funicular to the top of Cairngorm mountain. Either way you'll be delighted by the views - even in inclement weather!
If the kids don't fancy a walk, then a trip to the Wildlife Park or Landmark should be on your radar. There's plenty at both locations to keep you busy all day. This autumn the Wildlife Park is hosting Pumpkins at the Park which includes a farmyard play and a spooktastic children's trail, as well as the chance to choose a pumpkin. This is a standalone event, but you can combine it with entry to the park too. Landmark is hosting Spookfest and Foam Days (select days) with foamy slides and a bubbly dinosaur kingdom.
